Kenda Francis - Crush

Mixed media acrylic paintings, featuring elements of graffiti, hand-cut stencils and drips, spotlighting the often overlooked yet vital undomesticated creatures that transcend the physical and political boundaries of our planet.

SJIMA - Spring 2025

Working with Wendy during the installation and exhibition of my work at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art (March–June 2025) was an absolute highlight of my career.

As Assistant Director of the museum, Wendy brings a rare combination of vision and precision. She has an incredibly keen eye—nothing slips past her—and that attention to detail translates directly into a richer, more thoughtful experience for everyone who walks through the gallery. She doesn’t just install exhibitions; she elevates them.

What stands out most to me is how deeply invested she is in the work. Wendy approaches each project with care, curiosity, and respect.

She works tirelessly, always with intention, and always with the bigger picture in mind. Over the course of those months, what began as a professional collaboration turned into a genuine friendship—something I value just as much as the work we accomplished together.

Wendy is the kind of person you hope to work with: thoughtful, dedicated, and deeply committed to doing things right. Any exhibition she touches is better for it.
