What I do and offer:

  • I bring jewelry back to its former glory, through cleaning and/or polishing.

  • I re-string/re-knot necklaces and bracelets, oftentimes family heirlooms, making them wearable again. Even adding a new clasp or using colored silk thread can freshen and update a piece greatly. If a necklace does not require re-knotting, then I have the materials to do a simple re-stringing.

  • I do repairs such as: adding or changing a clasp, changing ear wires, re-attach pearls to earrings, and more.

  • I love the clues that a piece of jewelry offers me when assessing what period it’s from, what metals or materials are used, what gemstones or non-gemstones are in a piece. Are there any hallmarks or maker’s marks that tell me more about its origin or date? Does the jewelry show signs of repair or alteration? All incredibly valuable information.

    *At present, I do not offer repair services that require metal soldering.

  • Cleaning:

    $20 per item

    Five items or more, $15 per item.

  • Repair / Re-knotting & Re-stringing:

    $5 per inch - re-knotting

    $2 per inch - re-stringing
